Office Assistant required to work as part of an established team based in Bishopsteignton, Devon.

Your role will involve working as part of a team providing office support to a group of professionals. Currently, this will be via a mix of remote working and some office based work. You will be assisting the existing staff with administration, such as formatting reports, filing, letters, updating spreadsheets and files, scanning, post and phone calls.

Previous experience of working in administration and in an office environment is essential.
You must be proficient with keyboard and IT applications (this will be tested during the selection process).

Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel is essential; level of expertise supported by relevant qualifications would be desirable.

You must have excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task is essential.
Knowledge of health care/legal business would be desirable but not essential.

The ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters is essential.

37.5 hours per week, working hours are 9am to 5pm Mondays - Fridays.

£17,500 - £18,500 per annum.

Required to work with a 49 year old woman with a brain injury and full sight loss in her own home in the Blackwood area of Caerphilly Borough Council. Role will involve personal & domestic care, physiotherapy, social & leisure outings, enabling her to be an independent individual.

Previous experience, full driving licence and own car are essential.

You must be registered with OR working towards registration with Social Care Wales

You must hold a recognised Health and Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 2 or a Diploma) OR have completed the All Wales Induction Framework, or be willing to complete this within 6 months of starting if successful

Competent IT skills are desirable.

24 hours per week on a flexible basis to cover a 24/7 rota.
With occasional additional shift cover for leave taken by other team members.
£8.72 - £10.13 per hour

This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS.

The client is physically independent but needs support with all areas of daily living, including transport her to and from college, self-care activities, household activities, vocational activities, leisure activities and socialising.

SUPPORT WORKER

The client is a 17 year old boy, living with his family in Torquay, who sustained a brain injury in a road traffic accident when younger. His physical and learning disabilities are subtle. He needs support to develop confidence and competence in home and community leisure activities, with homework, general independent living skills, and with programmes overseen by healthcare professionals.

Previous experience, full driving licence and own car are essential.

An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) or higher in health/ social care and competent IT skills are desirable. Applications from students of healthcare professions would be particularly welcome.

Term time: 8 hours per week (to be worked flexibly between 3pm to 8pm on weekdays and between 9am to 8pm on weekends by mutual agreement).

School holidays: 16 hours per week (to be worked flexibly between 9am to 8pm on weekdays and possibly some hours on weekends by mutual agreement).

£11.00 - £12.00 per hour
